April 19, 2024 – unofficial Day 1 of construction on the house! Will have to circle back and create posts for permanent power, our building permit and our zoning permit. All part of the critical path. The before pic below:
Joe was out with his excavator.
- installed the trench for the 4″ PVC, hydrant and new customer valve that RRU will connect to the recently-unearthed system valve.
- received 9 1/2 yards of 3/4 drain rock. 2 yards into the tank foundation box, the rest forming parking spot(s) below the pod.
- received the 3,000 gallon tank, rolled into place on the foundation.
- scratched out an old stump at the corner of the driveway
- took down two young doug fir
- masticated brush, opening our easterly view

Day 3: Pace Supply
Went to Pace, picked up all of the parts for the tank to hydrant. Still need a few things. Adam is coming Monday AM.
